Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association Retirement Program
The FLEOA retirement program was created in 2008 to provide a formal program for FLEOA retired members to participate in FLEOA‘s mission, receive benefits similar to those members on active duty and over time develop programs and activities that are unique to our retired status. Current benefits include legal services relative to post retirement employment, issues relative to the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act and various contractual issues including issues regarding the Federal Employees Health Benefits program. The Retirement Director is also a member of the FLEOA legislative and legal committees. The Retirement Program is administered by the Retirement Director and other volunteers.
“Don’t Go It Alone” has guided FLEOA from its inception. As retired agents our goals in life may have changed but not our pride in past service to our nation. To many of us retirement is a change in our professional occupation. To others it is an opportunity to pursue leisure, educational or volunteer pursuits. FLEOA exists so that we do not have to face certain challenges alone. Our strength has always been in our collective membership.
Future expansion of this site will include an interactive discussion page to allow members to voice their views on a variety of law enforcement, social and financial issues. Each member has the opportunity to submit relevant articles for our professional publication the 1811 or on this site. Members are encouraged to participate in or serve as officers in any of our local chapters and to promote fraternal and social relationships in their geographical areas. In addition, a post retirement employment listing page will be developed.
